hello! & welcome
Welcome! You have entered my little home here on the web. I chose the name LOVESHAPED
because love is and always has been a little bit of an obsession of mine. I
guess you can say that I've always been sort of a hopeless romantic. Since love
comes in many shapes and forms, I believe many things can be
'loveshaped'.. such as people, places, and even objects. This [made up] word was meant to fit who i am
inside and out; I love love. That's all there is to it.
I've named this current layout "FLOATING LOVE" and idea for it is
based on how love always leaves us feeling like we're floating in air. Originally I was going to create an illustration of a hot-air balloon with a couple riding in it, but that, to me, seemed like just another obvious illustration of love. Balloons were used because, simply enough, they could still be grouped together in a way that showed what I was trying to say all along. Coincidently, this layout reminds me of one of my favorite films that I watched as a child:
Le Ballon rouge / The Red Balloon.

oh, pretty lady!
Born in the heart of New York City and with the terribly ditzy name of Cindy -- it's no doubt that I was made for great things. Twenty-something years later and I'm still trying to figure out what those great things are. I am hoping to find out within the next 25 years, otherwise, I just might possibly be screwed.
So no worries until then, right?
Life growing up as me wasn't too exciting -- it was mostly full of bowl haircuts, pretty dresses and lots of wallflowering.
I'm still pretty much the same today, minus the bowl haircuts and the pretty dresses.
Okay, so maybe that just means I'm still just a wallflower, but I'm still very fond of rockin' the short hair in a non-bowl haircut way.
And pretty dresses are still nice to wear, just not on me, and not all the time. You get the idea.
Over the years, I've been consistently described by others as a sweet person. Some people might seriously disagree. But I personally wouldn't -- not if you know what's good for ya! Harhar. ;)
As you can see, I like to believe I can be a funny girl, but I mostly borderline on being silly. Laughter is something I can't get enough of and something I'm very much known for.
I've been told you could hear my giggle from a mile away and still know that it's me.
I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve, on my head, on my toes, on the nape of my neck. I'm emotional to the core and vunerable at best. It's strange to admit that, but it's who I am and every day, I make the most of it.
& I've only recently learned how much of an idealist I am. So if you don't uphold against my standards, you never will. Just kidding. Kind of.
I am constantly living the life of romanticizing this idea that I was somewhere else, sometimes someone else, while making the most of this young adult stage and just trying to survive, somehow, on my own.
